2/3 against three straight top 10 teams in November is wild, with #13 Gonzaga next.

Oats pretty much saying, "we'll play anyone, any time, anywhere."

Great team win. They were outsized but battled on the boards.

But can they run the ball?

Bristow is the exact player we've been missing on this roster. Only big we have that both boxes out really well and attacks the rebound. I actually really like him at the 5. Bristow, Bol Bowen, and Allen on the floor gives us the kind of rangy defense and versatility that we haven't had since the Miller/Clowney/Bediako frontcourt.

He was the X factor in the game IMO.

With Sherrell a non factor due to fouls against a massive team, he came out of nowhere, ate minutes and was all over the court.

Tremendous effort from the entire team but he could be a difference maker for Bama this year.

And the AZ game in Bham is shaping up to be huge. Think I have like 13 tickets to that game already

Fitting to see Bristow grab the last rebound.

Yep and Bol Bowen got his block on the last 30 seconds.
Is Bethea gonna play this year or no?

That has potential to become an all timer response.

Looks like Nate is already situationally substituting.

I want to reiterate this post by TideSwamper as Oats’ late game moves were light years better than the Purdue game. Team played better tonight but coaching was better as well. That’s absolutely huge if Oats truly learned something (I vaguely remember him leaving JQ in on a last defensive possession against AU in ‘23 when we were tied with the shot clock off and an opportunity to sub due to made basket or dead ball…I almost lost my mind. Fortunately, we got the stop and won in OT to cut down the nets). Good late game substitutions could be a “game changer” for us in these close battles.
