If we get a couple shots and couple stops in a row, I think it’ll be game on. I think we’re more athletic than they are, they’re just playing smarter right now. Get them tired and dumb and see what happens.

Any time we go on a run oats puts Sears in. And I get it. You want some scoring potential but it's not worth it in this game.

Should’ve been our main ball handler all year. I appreciate all that Mark is done for us. But he has a wall that he can’t cross no matter how good he is on one side of it. Philon doesn’t.
ETA: I’m not convinced Philon doesn’t get an NIL bag and come back and lead us to the promised land next year.

Alabama is fighting but they're not good enough defensively to make a real run at winning this thing. Pessimistic but hoping for some bounces to go our way...

If we thought that were remotely possible, there wouldn't be such a doom and gloom on this board rn. We're staying in it, but it's entirely because Duke has cooled off- there's still no actual evidence we can stop them

One of Oats’ biggest must was allowing Sears to play point guard all year. He held this team back from its full potential. He disappeared in almost every tough game and his defense has been laughable. Philon and Holloway may not be the shooter he is but they give 1000% effort and that’s something Sears doesn’t do on defense.

We just can’t put pressure on them. We get it to 8, they push it back to 11 or 12.
We will need them to start missing open looks. We can’t keep up with their off ball movement. They are running plays every time down the court and getting a good look on 80% of those
