Good win. Really liked the way we finished.

Glad the bye is upon us. Hopefully get our guys back for a heavy weight fight with LSU as expected.

Glad I didn’t watch. Sounds like we had to gut it out against a bad Aggy team.

LSU will be “too loud” and they will buckle like their soft azz coach.

Didn’t watch. Looks like a DeBoer ball game by the box score so I’m glad I didn’t.

In the end TAMU scored 20 points and had under 300 yards of offense. Defense got 3 turnovers and turned one directly into points. Only gave up 3 points in the second half, and after giving up that opening half field goal the defense gave up 26 yards on 4 drives.

Simmons came back in.

No word on Sanders.

Thankfully, no one else appears to have been injured. The Bye Week is coming at a crucial time for us. We could be completely healthy, sans Beamon, for the 1st time since Fall Camp started.

Does the “other games” thread still exist or did it get nuked?

79 played well at LG. But at 6.2 he sure looks small compared to the LT. But it shows he weights 310 pounds

Yeah he looked small, but he was a fiery one. Maybe he can light a fire under the OL's arse.

seemed like we ran left side at the end of the game so hopefully strayhorn build some confidence while Sanders is out

I would curse out loud, but he's been a weak link on the OL.

Somehow I still allow Grubb to affect me even though I know exactly what is going to happen.

I only get into it when the defense is on the field.

Despite what people here think, what they do schematically out of a 3-4 Under and mixing up so many versions of single-high coverages is intriguing to me.

I’ve heard multiple coaches comment on the difficulty it creates for the QB (hence all the turnovers).

I know I’ll get downvoted 20 times, but it’s actually similar to what Macdonald does in Seattle on the back-end.

The last 2 seasons Bama was #3 in pass D and #2 in efficiency.

The difference this year has been the complete failure #5 has been.

It started in the FSU game right from the beginning. They played man-coverage as much or more than any game under CKW and #5 simply cannot play the ball in the air, if he’s in good position, he grabs bc he panics as opposed to “squeezing” the WR and get his head around to play the ball.

Then as soon as Chuck starts playing (he’s the real deal), Z Brown goes down
