Remember in the off season Saban said Little wasnt playing with the ones just to get more practice and that he was basically a starter. Kid didnt play at all smh

Ian was never going to be a main contributor. He was signed as depth when other lb prospects didn’t sign with us.

He didn't play this year because the outside corners were both first round grade corners. 2024 was his year. Once Arnold declared, he was likely to start in 2024. Seems like their expectations were irrational, the kid just didn't like it here, or something...

Jake Pope in the portal. Kind of surprised, I thought he’d have a decent shot at playing time next Fall. Maybe not?

Moore coming back maybe made him decide to shop since the nickel safety is locked up in 2024 barring injury.

Little is an absolute athlete. I’m sorry he just is. We have to find ways to get these studs playing time. Hate to lose him but is what it is. It’s the age we live in. He would have started in ‘24.

Downs started day 1. If you’re good enough you’ll find the field. We have plenty of studs outside of Little in the secondary. We’re good.

There are athletes everywhere and at the position he plays he was behind two first rounders.

Guess there are at least two ( not sure how two commitments yesterday factor in ) more who have to hit the portal or more if we decide to take anyone else in the portal ?
