Deboer better be calling Ryan Grubb. He's going to out at Seattle after Sunday and Nick Sheridan can kick rocks!

Pretty crazy that the offense was the issue this year
We need another OL coach too

I don't know if we need a new OLC as much as we need at least one LT to bench Pritchett and swap Proctor to RT or two OTs to bench both. Or hope that each was more injured than let on and it will be fine next year.

He holds the ball too long.
Okay and now because he has rolled out the pocket he has a run lane.
I can't believe people are trying to argue for Jalen fricking Milroe to be a pocket passing QB.
We should have moved the pocket as much as we could and even used misdirection in how we did it to throw off their rush.
Michigan just kept bringing the guy off the LT edge and we literally refused to roll Milroe away from the pressure.

I'm not sure if you let Sheridan go but you need a new OL coach because our OTs are the worse starting group on our team.
Yes even worse than Milroe

Is Chris Kapilovic the problem or the players?
Both players seemed to be playing dinged up all season and I'm sure the season wear and tear didn't help either. Also, a lot of their issues were basic technical stuff where they weren't focused on the snap and got caught in their stance when the blocker is already blowing by them. I'm sure that was not coached.

I’ll hold off judgment of Sheridan after one season. Milroe was given the benefit of the doubt and excuses for bad QB play last yr and the yr before when he filled in for Bryce and rightfully so because of his potential.
Sheridan deserves the benefit of the doubt also after one season. I’m not expecting the QB to throw 4-5k yards, but I do expect at least to see a “True QB” at the position and not an athlete.

On WJOX yesterday, Greg McElroy (I think) said Milroe had issues with accuracy when he rolled out -- even more so than when he stayed in the pocket. I believe he said his throwing mechanics, which weren't great to start with, got even more messed up on the move. For that reason we didn't have a lot of designed rollouts in the playbook.
I can recall a few passes this year that Jalen completed on the move, but I don't remember any that were really on target. Maybe there were some and I've forgotten them, but in general if he was scrambling or moving around the receiver had to make a significant adjustment to catch the ball.

A guy on the RoundTable is predicting Grubb is coming back.

Amazes me how his throws usually don’t turn over like a normal spiral, it’s like the receivers have to catch the bottom of the ball , it stays flat so many times

Wasn't the fact that his wife didn't want to live in AL a big reason why he left for the Seahawks job?

I'm not positive but haven't Cole C and others been critical of how our line is coached not just the inability of certain players to do what's coached? I may be off on that but I feel we can get better coaching. We had 23 OL on this years roster (not counting TE). Out of 23 guys, we should be able to put a better product on the field? We had a couple of guys do well, but it was a shite show for the most part.

Then didn't Nick quit coaching because Mrs. Terry had health issues.
I know I read it right here. That was solid gold.

I give Sheridan some slack but if I can get Grubbs, I do. Sheridan can go back to TEs or whatever he did before at Washington

I’m not making that argument. I’m saying rolling him out does no good because he can’t do anything. Michigan was bringing heat, his dumbass had running lanes in the middle, but what does he do? He bails out to the right or keeps backpedaling and gets sacked

Bingo
He is really happy with himself and his salary.

"Sheridan should have schemed plays around Milroe’s strengths which were literally nothing."
Isn't that an oxymoron? How would an OC scheme plays for someone with no strengths? Just asking. LOL.
