Everything seems to be quiet on Grubb right now which probably means he ain't coming here
I mean he got fired yesterday. I'd love to have hears something today but a little over 24 hours is way too soon to be saying he ain't coming. He probably wants a few days just to destress and chill. Also with the shitty weather, portal closed and off season for Alabama, what's the rush? There is no difference in 2-3 weeks from now

Hell, why would grubb come here? Half our stupid fan base wants deboer fired.

If NS wanted him back it would have happened.
It’s not as simple as snapping your fingers. UA Compliance was an issue the first go-round. There was mutual interest in 2023, but Coach could not make Bo Davis guarantees on how long he would continue.
This stuff isn’t that complicated if you have paid attention to the football program for over a decade.

Grubb just lost his job on Sunday. Today is Tuesday. If he comes here or not, does he have to be here in 20 minutes after getting fired, which kind of sucks for most people who have experienced it?

I'd bet on no official word until after the Feb NSD

The longer this goes on where he isn’t linked to any other program or NFL team, the better the chance he is coming

Do we think we'll have any new guys signing in Feb?

If only the fanbase didn't do the hiring and firing of coaches. : (
Oh well.

Was Jason Jones a walk-on at Bama? I don't remember him.

There hasn’t been anything meaningful put out on the webz about Grubb since he was let go from SEA. Who knows?

Feel like the more there is nothing, the more likelihood he's going to default to going back to his old boss.

I just spent a bunch of time going through the main Seahawks forum looking at fan comments on Grubb, for what it’s worth. And reading some other analysis on his situation from actual NFL reporters, not bloggers or tweeters.
My .02, neither he nor his stuff is cut out for pro ball, and I think if he keeps coaching it will be on the college level. Will it be here? Who knows? But the only time the man has ever coached outside the West was the brief time he spent with DeBoer at Eastern Michigan.

Not many good college jobs out West anymore...I'm still leaning on him coming to Tuscaloosa and being gone in 2 years max.

Reading the analyses of what went wrong for him, it was noted that his MO is to attack teams' weaknesses, not schemes, and the problem with that in the NFL is that even with "bad" teams there aren't as many weak spots to attack as there are with college teams, and he just couldn't (and some folks said wouldn't) adapt.
