The others weren't that good. We literally didn't care they left. From Odom dropping TDs, to Law fumbling and Prentice being a shadow. QB sucked but those guys did too.
Kinda what I said
I don’t think k he forgot how to coach in one year when he had what, 3 WRs taken in the first 2 rounds last year plus Bernard ?

I don’t know about hit a wall. QB could not find open receivers and when he did, majority of his throws were inaccurate.

Sir. Ryan dropped the ball a lot down the stretch. Lot of it was catchable.

Yep. Kind of hard to catch the ball when it’s ten feet over your head going into the second row of the bleachers.

We saw Ryan Williams start the season on fire and literally phase out with lazy routes, dropped balls and lack of effort blocking. We also saw #4 from OSU begin the season like Ryan but just get better and better
Got a hold of my nephew to see if they still talk. He said that when he (Armani) went to college went “Hollywood”. So it may just be an attitude thing. He said out of all his buddies getting recruited or playing, Jefferson is the only one he doesn’t talk to now.

I get that

Yep and I hope we see him mature and grow as a player like OSU #4 has because next year he won't have Milroe to hide behind when he drops another catchable ball

Pretty sure RW was getting heavily bracketed late in the season, at least he was for Michigan

Dropped one against OU on the first drive, a touchdown vs. Auburn (plus the catch and fumble), and one against LSU while it was pouring rain. Were there others outside of those? This is a legitimate question; I can’t recall.

We're hosting another transfer RB today.
Dre'lyn Washington

A source tells On3 that Louisiana running back Dre'lyn Washington arrived in Tuscaloosa for a visit starting today. He's rushed for 1,343 career yards and 9 touchdowns. Would be a depth add for the Tide.

Weird target. Stats aren’t all that impressive and he would appear to be more of a battering ram type RB at 5-9, 224 lbs.
The RB from Utah State seems a better fit (very quick/shifty) but I’m sure CKD knows what he’s doing.

The fact we're looking at two RBs tell me they are about to add at least one.

Jayshawn Ross in the portal.

I dont think he had a path to playing time. I think the return of players didnt help. I still think we should see 2-3 more players announcing transfer today or tmw.

Nothing saying that there’s interest, but maybe?

Most of the UW guys are transfers from elsewhere or non-DeBoer guys
That roster saw 50%+ turnover after he left the job
Edit: Yeah, that's a guy who transferred from Indiana for the 2024 season and is now looking for another payday

Williams clearly faded over time. Jeremiah Smith is a once every 10-15 years wide receiver though so let's not compare the two of them. Smith is Julio Jones part 2. 6'3" and runs a 4.5 40. He would be the 1st pick in the draft this year if could come out as a freshman.
Williams will be ok.

Well he was dropping balls, fumbling and not blocking. That has nothing to do with how teams cover you.
Also OSU #4 has even more thrown at him and eats it all up.
