speaking of Ghey. I know the portal is closed but does that also mean players can not be signed out of the portal, or just enter the portal?

It's just that they can't enter, however, there are several exceptions (see my link to FAQs on the previous page).
I'll be interested to see if any Bama players enter the portal following the bowl, since they have until Jan 5th.

Speaking of ghey, I won't forget how folks here ridiculed another one of my takes a few days ago when I posted that LT Overton might be "gone" due to being projected as a first-round pick. Well, who's laughing now? In this ranking, he's shown as the #44 overall. How many of you thought he'd be projected higher than Campbell?
Overton is a pass rusher -- a premium position in the NFL. He certainly has a legit shot at moving up the boards with a good pre-draft process. A borderline first-round pick to be sure. So, it seems my credibility here is higher than most care to admit. Sorry to insult y'all like this.

If Overton were smart, he’d come back for another year at Bama, work hard and be a sure top 15 pick.

2025 is the weakest draft class in recent memory. There may not even be a team desperate or dumb enough to trade with (the Pats?) for the #1 pick to take a QB. Yes, I agree that Milroe is not close to being round1 worthy, but there are organizations like the Jets who never cease to blow draft after draft with stupidity.
In a weak draft like this one, there’s no reason why Overton can’t boost his stock. If he’s projected 1st or second round, he’s probably gone, despiite what YOU think he should do. Sorry for the “negativity”. I’m sure most of us would turn down that $$$ too.
