He’s a freshman who does some things better than our 4th year Junior starting for a 2nd season.

On the flip side. The A&M secondary was atrocious. Dez Ricks was absolutely awful. LOL!

Saying "he's better than Milroe" isn't exactly a ringing endorsement.
He isn't a good qb. He sure can run, though.

I don't think he got the opportunity. What he got a couple possessions against us. Never got any in game time because we didn't blow anyone out.

The main transfer portal does close tomorrow.

However, for players whose team made it to a bowl game, they have an additional 5 days to declare AFTER said game.

Our guys have until January 6th to leave. So technically this portal window will officially close on January 25th when the playoffs end.

TideSaint covered the basics in his post, but for info about what happens with coaching changes, grad transfers, etc., here are some answers to FAQs:

Many fans have degrees from opponent Universities. It means little.

You’re a poor troll as your hatred of Alabama prevents you from having anything positive to say about Alabama or even any softened criticisms.

It appears Alabama’s unparalleled success, as well as domination of AU has embittered you to the point of obsession. You claim little passion for the sport anymore, yet you can’t help hovering around this board, maybe others, and make impassioned criticisms especially relative to the deep, crushed, failing love of your life - the Auburn tigers. Their descent into continual failure and mediocrity, has unhinged you.

Auburn is now historically behind Alabama, OU, LSU, Texas, UGA, Tennessee and Florida and currently behind A&M, OM, Mo, USC, just a little above Ark, UK, Vandy & MSU. That makes you number 12 in the SEC with little hope of emerging, except the occasional surprising season. That will probably change shortly.

4 losing seasons in a row, 1 10 win season in the last 11, 4+ losses for the last 11 seasons, 5+ for 9 of those, etc. Just one source of shame after another. And stuck with a sleazy coach who doesn’t want to be there. Life must be hard for you little buddy. We should offer you some comfort but you make it difficult.

Bravo on your post. Summarizing Auburn's woes makes their confidence even more baffling, especially after Freeze having a worse season year 2 with a better roster than he did year 1. I guess hope is literally all they have.

I noticed this in the couple of AU games I watched this year. Every time they showed Freeze on the sidelines, he looks exhausted and like he'd rather be anywhere else.

When he coached high school he got to creep on underage girls.

At OM there were no expectations and his two flukey wins against us already had them designing his statue and worshipping him like a cult leader.

At Liberty he won games, but even if he didn't his sleazy, fake Christian bullshite is literally what that school has been built on. Coach Swaggart was completely in his element working with trash like McCaw and the Falwells.

At Auburn the girls are all legal, there are unrealistic expectations, and while their typical holier than thou fans eat up the televangelist bullshite at the end of the day they'd hire Hitler if it guaranteed 10 wins a year.

I've never had much respect for Auburn, but the little that existed quickly evaporated when they hired that waste of oxygen.

Speaking of exhausted/tired ex AU coaches, guessing Malzahan didn't sell his lake house when he went to UCF...he was at the lake for Christmas and was taking pics at the local bowling alley this past Friday night....something about Lake Martin definitely attracts Barn coaches.

Freeze has to beat Georgia and Alabama at home in 2025 or he will be on a scorching hot seat. They always prepare for those games at home in the odd number years like their personal Super Bowl. So be prepared for the barn boosters rigging that stadium in every way imaginable and drawing up every trick play in the book.

Tuberville still has a home on Lake Martin. It’s definitely a popular boog hangout spot.

Bowling alley appearances seem right on brand for former AU coaches.

I know several Alabama fans and alumni that have places on Lake Martin. It's a nice area.

If you folks only knew how big a kick I get from reading post such as tattoo’s, and how much I concur with his take on the school across the state and its head football coach! I absolutely eat this stuff up!

My MO on this board is to inspire critical thinking with my devil’s advocate positions on certain Alabama football-related topics, as well as college football in general. And I couldn’t care less what people call me or how much you hate me. Again, unless collegiate sports is able to have sensible solutions to its problems implemented soon, it’s gonna go the way of the dinosaurs. History is on my side on this issue. People will find other sporting events and competition to distract them from the world’s many REAL problems. TPTB always have their bread and circuses at the ready.

It wasn’t all that long ago when MMA and UFC was almost unheard of in mainstream culture. Just a little food for thought……

Hope everyone has a happy and safe 2025.
