The FB portal closes on 12-28 and does not open again until the spring.

The main transfer portal does close tomorrow.

However, for players whose team made it to a bowl game, they have an additional 5 days to declare AFTER said game.

Our guys have until January 6th to leave. So technically this portal window will officially close on January 25th when the playoffs end.

The fact that this thread has a title of an Auburn QB in it aggravates me for some reason.

Me too. Why would that ever be allowed?

Because that's all they talked about all day long yesterday... I changed title cuz that's all they cared about.

I know why it was changed and that’s the aggravating part.

I'm no expert, but if we were interested in a portal RB, I think we would have pursued Fluff Bothwell from South Alabama, originally from Oneonta

Again, they are trying to fill a roster just like every other team, but if you want to go with the “creating a narrative” story and believe that an LSU is more interested in stealing a player from another team than creating a team that can win, have at it.

I’m legitimately laughing at the idea that men who spend millions on NIL to bring athletes to their school wouldn’t consider spending a little extra to bring in an athlete who can contribute on the field while also allowing them to brag about how they stole them from a rival.

Not to mention by “stealing” a player it creates a perception of superiority for your program from a brand image standpoint which can help attract other recruits. It’s basic marketing.
