Yellawood getting desperate.lol
Kinda wish we had one crazy billionaire that was a huge fog and just didn't care how much he spent every year just to keep bama near the top of recruiting.

UTk paid Nico $8 million before he even took a snap. Michigan is paying Underwood like $15 million before he has taken a snap. Saban mentioned the other day how the "salary cap" keeps going up. Your immediate reaction may be "no way, that's ridiculous", but everything about CFB is ridiculous at this point so Jackson Arnold getting $2.5 million isn't something I'd put outside the realm of possibility.

Yes, yes it is. No need for me to further explain my current level of interest (or lack thereof) in it.

Nico was a rights sales on a five star prospect, he sold his future rights for an 8M up front payment.

Jackson Arnold isn’t selling his rights for jack for 2.5M. He’s not getting a transfer fee of 2.5M.

Entirely different situations

You don't find McCready and Siskey as credible sources? They're pretty well connected to the CFB community. Also in no rational world is Jackson Arnold worth 2.5 million but the barn would absolutely pay a QB solely based on the fact he beat Bama. It's why they hired Freeze.

Auburn allegedly tried to poach Ty Simpson last year with a huge offer. Their obsession with Alabama cannot be overstated. We live rent free in their heads all day, every day.

I think 2.5 is overpaying but I also think we are definitely there. Not at all shocked that Jackson Arnold could get that from AU.

Auburn is throwing every egg they have in the 2025 basket.

LSU supposedly just tried to make a move this year on one of our players with a huge offer and it didn’t work.

They’re as bad as Auburn with it at this point.

You didn’t need 2.5M to get Jackson Arnold, who was being forced out of OU and signaled he was transferring as far back as mid season

I’m not sure who you think Auburn was bidding against but his next best option was Mississippi State, and they sure aren’t slinging cash. Arnold has so far been a massive bust for his recruiting rank and everyone knows it

Auburn better hope it works next year or they will have a HUGE egg on their face.

Freeze has them in a chokehold as bad as Kelley has LSU.
