Well now he’s headed to a school surrounded by average to below average talent in a conference with piss poor talent and he can shine.

Thess kids these days are either dumb or they listen to dumb people.

Just like Eyabi, you are mad you don't play and instead of waiting a couple months you decide to sit out and wait another season, all the while going to a smaller program you will get no shine at.

These kids are hustling all the way backwards.

If Eyabi stays he is the starter premier speed rush player who would be one of the faces of a legendary program and a first round lock for 2021 draft.

Instead he is at a program that just got abandoned by it's QB with a coach who just came off a horrible season. He did nothing but lose when he transferred.

Same for Alfano.

Both just wait they are stars. Now they are afterthoughts in nothing programs.

I don't think Eyabi and Alfano are the same situation. Eyabi was getting playing time and it was rumored he had mental health issues. Eyabi is a Nigerian American and he transferred to a school located where the largest Nigerian American population is in the U.S. So, I do believe Eyabi transferred to be closer to family.

Alfano is an entirely differently situation in my opinion. He comes off as entitled.

I believe the saying goes "youth is wasted on the young." I think any of us in the 30+ contingent can look back on a lot of the stuff we did and choices we made at that age and cringe hard. These dudes are all 18-21 year old boys/young men, which makes 90% of them immature dumbasses.

Baylor tabbed LSU defensive coordinator Dave Aranda as its new head coach leaving Ed Orgeron in search of a new mastermind to run the Tiger defense in 2020 and beyond.

I don’t understand why they can’t look at Quinnen Williams and understand that the coaches know what they are doing

Eyabi was from Jersey man also it seemed prettt clear he left due to playing time.

Then had to sit out a year... missing exactly that.

I know Aranda wasn't a strong recruiter. But, does his leaving weaken LSU/strengthen Bama with any of the big names on the board?

If Alfano gets a waiver to play immediately, i'm going to be even saltier about how Quinerly got done by the NCAA.

Probably not when it comes to recruiting because Orgeron is a strong recruiter, he's still the head coach, and I believe he'll go to the ends of the Earth to pull recruits if you follow my drift. But, coaching wise Aranda's exit will hurt because he can really coach and the LSU defense may revert to being talented and under-achieving.

The only one who comes to mind that it might affect is McKinnley Jackson. Usually the area recruiter and position coach are the ones with closest relationships with recruits, but Aranda (and Brady both) leaving still might give Jackson some concerns about the overall outlook for the program. But Orgeron just might hire Golding to replace Aranda. And Jackson really likes Golding A LOT. I'd be cool with that hire., especially if we could get Ansley as DC.
