I would like to know how those kids who take money and promises to be taken care of after football really live if they dont make the league. Like is it a nice 100k job or what.

No telling how many recruits that Lane was trying to get to delay their signing. He's going to be a pest, but really rough for LSU

Best guesses as to who Bama ends the class with ? I'm not feeling good about Washington. Who else is Saban targeting ?

We have read and heard it all haven't we? We were told we would get Phillps, Rakim, Boute, Burch, etc etc..
I hope we can close out with at least Washington and Alfred.

I can tell you if we don't get Washington..look for Brandon Frasier.. he has a younger brother named Dylan that is going to be damn good to at LB. Watching Film Brandon is a way better at catching the ball..he high points it and has a basketball back ground. Washington is more all around and a force blocking too.

Lastly, from Duke to Auburn we should have saw more growth out of our linebackers. Improvement during the season was something we took pride in. I guess we don't do that anymore.

As a coach in MS, it will be a tough pull for Jackson away from OM is the word I heard

Yeah, as was discussed in here earlier today that McKinnley Jackson's recruitment might turn into an OM vs LSU, UGA & AU $ituation. He's already taken OVs to Bama and AU. His other 3 OVs are scheduled for LSU on Jan-17, OM on Jan-24 and A&M on Jan-31, but he's also said he might visit Bama again in Jan. UGA will be trying to get him on campus too.
And so far, it appears that DE Alfred Collins has more interest in several BigXii schools than he has in Bama, including Texas where his mom played on a hoops scholly.
I'd love for us to land at least one of those two, but it's hard to be optimistic about it, right now.

I'm trying to be optimistic that we close with one of these big name targets but it's seeming less than likely. I'd love one or more of Washington, Jackson, or Henderson but it seems more likely we just sign the guys we have committed now.

Who did Bama refuse to take? Bone said we refused to take a certain RB. The Late Kick show (here's the link LINK ) said we turned down a few guys who would have given us the #1 overall class; guys we felt would have been poison in the locker room.

Per Tim and Hank on Thursday, Bama is in the thick of it for Washington, but Clemson is the team to beat for Henderson.

The RB was Zach Evans. Idk if "turned down" is the right wording, but off the top of my head Bama did stop recruiting RB Zach Evans, WR Jermaine Burton and LB Sav'ell Smalls -- and it wasn't due to concerns about their FB talent.
