Dabo's constant whining about Clemson not being respected gets on my nerves, but that son of a bitch is fricking efficient when it comes to Signing Day.
They had all 22 LOIs before 8 AM and none of this wishy washy crap.
ETA: Holy hell. I just listened to a James Franklin interview on ESPNU radio and Penn State had all 27 LOIs before 7:30 this morning.

I bet the staff feels confident that Ruggs and Smith are returning. No way Saban gets caught holding the bag like he did on signing day 2 years ago. I can't see him striking out at WR in addition to losing 3 WR's to the draft. Saban knows something that we don't.

I don't pretend to know how it works, and I don't think it is replicable by anybody else or even him at other places, but his whole "thing" at Clemson is one of the most unique and amazing things I've ever seen.
- Recruits commit and that is it, no visits or you are out ----- he NEVER has kids decommit
- Coaches NEVER leave
- He signs kids LIKE A MADMAN
It's truly unbelievable

This doesn't really make sense though. It's not like we weren't trying for these recruits. We just didn't win out for them.

I think their recruiting policy is basically "you shop we shop, but if you don't shop neither will we" whereas most programs have a "we are always shopping" policy. They pretty much never have anyone flip on them.

Yep - and credit to them, they are consistent on their end. They generally decide they want a kid and once he is in he is in. I mean he is a goof and all that, but that sort of cultural thing doesn't last unless it is legit.

Because according to their formula we are #4? They weight stuff more if I remember right, and the bottom of your class isn't counted at all (that may be old news)?

I don't believe the cupboard to be nearly as empty as people want to let on, even if those guys do leave.
Waddle, Metchie, Shavers, Bolden, Williams, Townsend*, Story*, Bell, Holden, Baker is plenty of firepower for the coming season.
