What's up with the TE from Texas we were looking at? I like him just as much as Washington.

Brandon Frazier? He's still uncommitted. And very tall.

I'd be surprised if he didn't wind up here. I think Washington goes to UGA to die in their boring arse offense.

Yea, if we hold on to all our guys (specifically Kennedy/Smith) and add McLellan.......pretty great day.

I think his idea of great news and ours are very different. I seriously doubt he follows recruiting websites considering he's inside the program. I guarantee you his tweets were referring to Cohen and Williams. Great news to him, but relative to all the crazy rumors that we hear and he doesn't, not a very big deal.

gonna have to excuse my greed here, and I certainly hope we land Jase, but that doesn't translate to a "bunch" to me

Kids commit way earlier now. Very few guys go into NSD uncommitted anymore.

recruiting is a different game than before. Saban and his staff were kind of blind sided at early signing day 2 years ago, and he responded by hiring some recruiters for the next season that weren't experienced coaching this level and we're still paying a little for that. Kind of ironic that recruiting, that which Saban ruled, is sort of responsible in a round about way for the current situation. Mind you, our "current situation" is probably better than all but about 4 teams right now, and should improve next season, but sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

oh, and we'll still end up with a very good to great class

Yea a separate thread with a list of who sent in letters and who’s announcing whenever would be nice. It is very hard to keep up with in this thread and no way to see how many are left and who all has announced already

WRONG. IT'S SO EASY AN IDIOT CAN DO IT.

On the top line of this thread's 1st post there's a link to the signing schedule (updated with each new signing) and link to the official UA FB twitter. I've been posting every signing tweet and each one has a bold all-caps note about the 1st-post links. I've also posted notices about those new links in the first post for several days. And this Commits link (shows who's signed) has been on the top line of this thread's 2nd post all year.

You're allowed to create that thread you want.

Its funny how Saban gets a bad rep but yet keeps a guy like Clark who is hurt with Pegues in his grasp. Couldn't be me.

Arik Gilbert signs with LSU.

That Tennessee idiot from yesterday was way off.

Haven't y'all heard? Since we whiffed at WR, we are firing Sark and bringing Paul Johnson out of retirement to run the triple option with Slade. frick all that air raid spread shite.

Seriously, WR hurts, but the cupboard isn't bare and may be better stocked than we know. And that is one of the few positions where you can pull a good kid out of high school and plug and play. I won't lose any sleep over that position as long as we shore up the defense with guys like Kennedy.

Washington has size you can't teach. He is huge. Just his sheer size would be terrifying to Lbs and Safety's. Gilbert maybe the better athlete but Washington can be intimidating on the field.
By the way did Gilbert sign with LSU yet?

Just saw Where Gilbert signed. Never mind. What about Boutte?

How does Bama, or any other schools, juggle the number of signees with players who haven't declared for the draft yet?
What if 6 or so players you expect to go pro, elect to stay?
