Happening quite a bit at Bama this year. The 3rd 5 star caliber defensive player Bama has lost since July.
Good riddance to Anoma and Alfano. And, if Carter isn't responsible enough to go to class, and his response to a reasonable one-game suspension "wakeup call" is to transfer and sit out a year, then good riddance to him as well.

Bring on the 3 stars, 5’s are head cases.

Geez that stinks. Really gonna need help when McKinney and Diggs and Carter leave. This sucks

he'll show them, for making him go to class

Think this may change the staff’s recruiting of Joseph and Joel Williams?

Maybe Bama will take 2 more CBs (6 vs 5 DBs). We're actively recruiting several (see 2nd post).
ETA: A BOL poster said Scooby Carter and Jase McClellan are cousins.

I really wish N Joesph would get his grades together , but that don’t look good as of now. I like Pouncey and this Ronald Williams Juco really looks good on film.

I'd also like to say that this is one of the main reasons that I don't want the RB Evans. I don't believe he'd be able to do what it takes here

I just wish the SEC will stop handicapping our conference with the 25 limit..needs to be atleast 30

Yup, and I warned about loading up on five stars as a strategy. Sure it's nice, but alot of them to be divas and want immediate PT.

Hank did an article (BOL-VIP) today identifying which UA commits are enrolling and/or signing early. I only needed to make a couple of tweeks to the 2nd post. Noteworthy nuggets:
Javon Baker isn't signing early. He's solid, has been visiting Bama often, helping with recruiting, has no other visits planned and is expected to sign in February, provided he's taken care of his first semester academics.
Jayson Jones isn't listed as signing early, but he still might. He has an OL spot at Bama (that's his best fit) if he wants it. He'd said he prefers DL and was expected to decommit. However, he's been visiting Bama often and may be trending toward sticking and playing OL. We'll see.

I agree with this. I'm not sure what the benefits are to 25. Maybe it's just for the perception.

Phil Savage tweeted this pic of Chris Stewart and himself. Stewart looks good, all things considered. Prayers for him to fully recover

I've been tracking our numbers for several years and haven't encountered any instances of the SEC's 25/year limit preventing us from taking as many as NCAA rules permit. It might've before the NCAA added the 25 signings per academic year limit (effective for the 2018 cycle), which eliminated ability to blueshirt players.
We were able to take 28 in the 2019 cycle, by counting early enrollees against unused 2018 cycle spots and using the voluntary withdrawl exception. Those two options, along with non-athletic aid and greyshirts, are NCAA-allowed workarounds. The SEC 25/year initial counters limit doesn't prevent the use of those options.

Honestly, I've always heard McClellan was pretty solid with his commitment to Oklahoma. And, it's likely Carter was telling his cousin not to come to Bama.

Why do you habitually jump to rash negative conclusions and state them like they're facts?
Facts: After Jase's visit (on his dime) for the UA vs LSU game, Tim Watts said Jase already has his family's approval to flip and is quietly giving it serious consideration. Jase is also a student who's serious about his academic success.
Reasonable opinion: I doubt his decision will be affected by his irresponsible cousin's decisions. Mine definitely wouldn't be.

We shall see. Still think there is no chance to flip him. We will know in about a month.

After his OV in June, Jase said he really likes Bama a lot -- that it's the one school that could flip him. Given that and what Tim Watts learned and said about his recent visit, it looks like your "no chance" hot take is actually just your same old Debbie Downer trolling schtick.
Earlier this year, I noticed that your posting had become more reasonable and positive. And I applauded you for it. But lately, your repetitive negative trolling schtick is back in full swing. Do you really crave attention that much, or are you actually that negative-minded?
