It’s hard to get a great feel for Latham because he’s playing trash competition- but to me the film says that his game will translate. The kid is quick as a hiccup. You can tell a kids explosiveness against air, and his first step says 230 pounder in a 280 pound frame.

Dear Scott Cochran- don’t bulk this kid up to 320. He is explosive

Amen. Latham looks like he's close to his ideal weight now. Should only add muscle mass and don't exceed 295 lbs. 20-25 lbs of blubber does harm instead of helping. Hinders explosiveness, athleticism, chase & closing speed, stamina, etc.

Nadab Joseph -- Hank flipped his CB pick from Bama to Foggy.

Ronald Williams -- I think Bama may press hard on his official visit this weekend.

Dazalin Worsham -- CBd to Miami by Tim & Hank on 11/21.

Is this your best guess at last 4 spots?

Yes, at this point in time. Those positions are our top 4 needs. I think Bama might push to land and sign those 4 guys in Dec, and I like our chances with them. Of course, I could end up being wrong on all 4. #recruitingisfluid

Not seeing any indications of him being actively recruited by or visiting other teams since late July when visited UGA, A&M & LSU with HS teammate and pal Zachary Evans. Maybe A&M would take him if it helps them land Evans, who took an OV to A&M last weekend.

I think Bryce Young gives us a key advantage. He's talking with them regularly, building good relationships. Jarrett's HS team might have the best defense in the country and he saw Young slice them up. Top 3 WRs Jeudy, Ruggs and Smith leaving early for 1st round $MMs. Jarrett is also from the same HS as Terrell Lewis and Keilan Robinson. Only one of LSU's starting WRs is leaving, Joe Burrow will be gone and LSU's future QBs look meh compared to Young.

Washington's OV to Bama went great. He spent quality time with Young and our other commits, along with coaches Banks, Sark and Saban. UGA can't show him they've thrown much to their TEs or had any drafted high like we've done with OJ Howard and Irv Smith. Instead, UGA's 5-star TE wound up going in the 7th round. 5-star Howard went early 1st and 3-star Smith early 2nd round. Fromm is likely to leave and UGA's future QBs aren't anywhere near as good as Young.

Imo, it just doesn't make any sense for Jarrett and Washington to not roll with the Tide. Both can start as freshmen.

Yeah those are fair points. Really think an elite receiver would put this class over the top. Washington would be great but I also really like Billingsley. I listened to watts podcast and he seems pretty confident this class will be great

Man, what a fantastic linebacker class. Could be a special group. Every one of them brings something elite to the table

I think one or both of Kennedy and Robinson end up a 5 star before all is said and done.
