Word is they want Bob Stoops. As long as it's not an up and comer.

I wonder if USC targets Bob Stoops and if he's interested. USC is a true Blueblood and can easily recruit elite talent right in their back yard. One of the top college HC jobs in the country. USC's 2020 recruiting class needs some work, but USC is loaded with talent -- not a rebuild situation. A good HC and staff could revitalize USC as the PAC12 flagship program quickly.

With USC supposedly hiring Cincinnati's AD, they may go Luke Fickel, he has done pretty well.

If they hire Fickel he won't be the first choice. The guy has never coached outside of Ohio.

FSU is going to owe Taggert a ton by firing him midseason. I wonder if that will hender their hire in anyway. I know a lot of people were saying the reason Taggert wouldn't get fired was because of his contract.

Jimbo pointed that car toward the cliff and then Taggart got in it, chugged a bottle of vodka, and floored the accelerator.

They supposedly raised the $20 million to fire Taggart and his staff and made their move. $17 million for Willie and $3 million for the staff is what I've read. I don't think this will hinder their upcoming hire in any way. Everyone recognizes Taggart was a failure and this move had to be made.

Stoops would be a good fit for FSU. Plus with the exception of CU the ACC is trash

It wouldn't shock me if FSU went all in chasing Urban

No way Urban takes the FSU job....

Who knows with that guy. He might be handing out crab legs at practice next week.

I know a guy in the Tennessee AD and he said they really got hurt in Dooley's last year because they waited so long to fire him.

He knew he was getting fired, the staff knew they were getting fired, so they didn't put any effort into the program, into recruiting or anything.

Best to get them out ASAP when you know it's going to happen.

No TideSaint means no barrage of early morning recruiting updates.
Surge should be in shortly.

Both. If you'd read the visitors list (prior page) and two articles I've posted (above) you'd know what his visit plans are.
