I don’t want to get rid of anyone the coaches want or seem worthy but Bratton’s film that Saint linked was not very impressive IMO

Robinson is one of the best players in this class.

Read it. We aren’t in the top 3, but we are in the top 5. He specifically said that he wanted to see us sling it...throw it around. So, I don’t know that he has watched much of Alabama. Georgia is in the top three and they haven’t slung it around. Clearly, he hasn’t watched them either. Not going to hold out hope.

This is a rivals article so he probably said all types of things about how great Tua is and how he patterns his game after Juedy and loves Waddle and the only thing they published is I want to see them sling it, after they asked what he wants to see during the LSU game . No doubt there is a resonable chance he is not that high on Bama and so had little to say but that quote is still suspiciously short.

I think he is talking about Jahquez Robinson.

Arian Smith had one brief visit to Bama in June. He's visited the other three more recently and got a more extensive pitch from them. I'll wait to see where we stand with him after his OV, instead of being concerned about that Rivals article.

I'd rather y'all flip Boutte AND Jarret over Ricks. Our cornerback depth is perilously thin. Losing Surtain really hurt us.

I may be in the minority for a UA fan but I want Ricks.

I think Carlton is saying he thinks the majority would want Ricks over a 5th WR.

I agree with Carlton but most will want a five star guy at WR. Me I am happy with what we have.

I like the 3 WR commits we have too, but Jones-Bell is the only one of them who's close to being as elusive and fast as Jeudy, Ruggs and Smitty. That's why Bama wants a 4th WR like A Smith, Jarrett or Boutte. Bama also definitely wants to flip Ricks. There's enough room to do both.

We have guys in the sideline as well. I think hitting on one next year is more important. I don't think guys are just going to come in and jump over metchie and bolden.

If it comes down to Jarrett or Ricks that would be tough but I'm taking Elias over any prospect not named Burch. Maybe Evans would be a tough decision.

I don't do recruiting like i used to, but I always wanted to get the LOS guys.
Want to keep the QB from Cali very bad also. Young.

Would like to see 2 or 3 of the best LB's also.

Great thread and info. Thanks for all the work that you guys do.

Always prioritize linemen over CBs, WRs, and RBs.

I'm a firm believer that winning in the trenches matters most. Saban is too, but he still prioritizes recruiting targets based on positional needs for each recruiting class -- as he should.
