JMO of why Nate is going exclusively after 5 stars. If you hear his interviews and listen carefully and extrapolate a little, I think Nate is a little bit star struck. You have to remember, 4 or 5 years ago he was a high school math teacher and basketball coach. Then he gets his big break into college basketball at backwater Buffalo. They turn Buffalo into a formidable mid-major and he gets a quick promotion to a middle to lower high end P5 job at Alabama. An Alabama job that just so happens to be the home of his idol Nick Saban. So Nate feels like he hit the big time and can pull anybody in that he goes after. He’s learning the hard way that Alabama has squandered what weight the name might have carried in the past with their performance in recent years. He’s got to reestablish the brand before he can compete with the blue bloods for top recruits. I think his style will be an easy sell with kids if he has some success. But he’s got work to do before he gets to that point.

He looks pretty good to me. Obviously they're just highlights, but he seems like the kind of wing Oats wants and can flourish in his system. He's streaky from 3, but can stretch the floor and is good around the rim.
