Yea, he's got to develop a pick and pop jumper or he's pretty severely limited as an offensive player.

We run a 10 year old NBA offense with one guy who has NBA ability. Basically, Avery is going to have to scrap the high ball screen/hero ball nonsense or recruit like Kentucky for us to have any sort of consistent half court scoring.

I'm telling you Lawson has instinct that other guys don't.

I'm not sure physcially he can do it enough, but man he has a gift.

Exhibit A: an experienced team filled with good basketball players with a great coach and a cohesive plan.

Exhibit B: a young team filled with talented, raw athletes with a coach still figuring out the college game and a plan that’s still evolving.

Team A skull drags Team B 99 times out of 100

I never said anything even close to us having the same amount of talent as them.I guess youre arguing with me after putting other people posts with mine or something.

Only point I was making is that they are a damn good team with borderline top 15 or so recruiting classes.The way a program unlike the blue bloods should strive to be including ours.

Hey if UMBC can be successful with their guard who is like 5'8 why can't we do it with Schaffer?

Indeed, this is probably the peak of what you can expect from AJ. Not terrible, never great
