Our RPI moved up about 4 spots the last 7 days. We're at #56 right now.
A win, assuming no other changes in other teams, would move us up to around #47.

I would love to see this group flip the switch and run the table in St. Louis but I have no confidence that will happen.
Re Michael Porter. I heard the same thing. Dude can catch and shoot from anywhere on the floor and bury it. At 6’10”. Said he could play 20-25 minutes today. I really kind of doubt that many minutes but I’m beginning to rethink my position that he won’t make a difference.

As I hope for the best today and try to think of how the team can turn things around, I'm reminded of a scene in the movie Tin Cup.
Cup is on the range and can't get out of his own head, and can't hit a shot to save his life. Romeo, his caddy, makes him do all kinds of crazy crap (move all his change to his left pocket, turn his hat, turn his belt backwards...) to get him to quit overthinking and just hit the ball.
I'm hoping somebody on our staff does that with the team today in shootaround. Get them to just quit overthinking things and just play!

a 6-9 guy that can shoot like that will, already has, impressed the nba scouts. I imagine it has Cal concerned.

Like most people, I would love to see us come out with a fire under our arse and dominate A&M like we did in Coleman earlier this year.
However, I also think we are the most mentally weak team in basketball history and we will do just enough to get us to buy in and think we have a shot to win today before pissing it away late in the game. Today will essentially be a summary of this season.

That is exactly what I was thinking. And get on the freaking boards. Don't let tamu get easy put backs off of missed shots. And no more touch fouls on layups. Hammer the crap out of them. No easy shots under the basket.

We are all just a like lol. We get frustrated at times and complain but at the end of the day we still care , get nervous and want to win as badly as anyone . I am that way for all UA sports. RTR
