Yea, at this point, you have to think some heads are going to roll and some programs will get hammered. Too much going on to be able to sweep it under the rug.

I can't wait to read all of the reports

Tom, that region is not as weak as you might think. Texas Tech is a no-name, but really good team. Each team will be extremely motivated, and able to bring it on any given night. It will be fun.

He may not have done anything at Auburn(I would lean toward he did otherwise I think he would have been more forthcoming)...but I will be shocked if he didnt do anything at Tennessee.

Strictly on the Chuck Person case, it is very unlikely he had any knowledge or involvement.

As for other potential violations? Really hard to know, probably similar to almost any other program

Outside the statute of limitations for NCAA so doesn't really matter.

We all know the NCAA would just change the rules.

The weird thing is if they retroactively change the rules, which I guess they can do since it is their rules, do FBI cases go away?

You guys aren’t the least bit worried we could be involved? There was the whole Collin thing at the beginning of the season. There is the possibility of a link there.

There isn’t the possibility of a link, there is a KNOWN link and Sexton served a suspension for it. I guess it comes down to do you have faith in UA compliance to fully investigate? I do. I also know our guy was on tape and yet he wasn’t charged which strongly suggests his acts didn’t rise to the level of others involved. He also came into the mix late in the game so there wasn’t a lot of time for him to do much more.

Finally, we haven’t put a player in the NBA since JaMychal Green and he toiled away in the D league before earning a spot. If we have been paying kids, someone needs to go to jail for stealing our money.

Exactly. I highly doubt grant or Avery would buy kids. Kobie Baker wasn't arrested or indicted, that's the part people are missing in all of this I think. Our compliance did all they could do and from everything I've heard Darnell Sexton didn't bite on the bribe and paid back what amounted to a 90 dollar meal or something to that extent. This is mostly sensationalized journalism I believe and the NCAA isn't going to sacrifice the NCAA tournament. My question is , a psycho walked into a school and shot up alot of people and the FBI is worried about shoe companies? Serious lack of priorities if that's the case.

It's like the FBI has more than one agent or something.

Point being is I think most people want the FBI stopping people like Nikolas Cruz instead of worrying about college sports.

This FBI stuff really doesn't bother me much. One of two things will happen:

1. A few individuals will go to jail, the whole thing just kind of fizzles out, and everyone forgets about it. NCAA does nothing.

2. It's a giant scandal and the NCAA announces there was widespread shady activity throughout basketball (shocked fans everywhere) and that everyone will be granted a pass, but they're cracking down on any future activity.

I am pretty sure the FBI is made up of thousands of people and they can focus on many types of crimes.

enough of this fbi talk. We have games to win!

Most all time wins vs Kentucky/games
1) Tenn 71 wins/224 games
2) Vandy 47/192
3) Fla 39/139
4) Ala 37/147

The FBI must have gotten someone at one of the shoe companies to roll over on these head coaches. Its ok with me. Time to clean up the mess and get the shoe companies out of bball recruiting. The FBI--if there is a wide spread crime, crossing state lines, they certainly can be involved. They are not looking at ncaa violations. The ncaa just uses their report to look for violations. Its like low handing fruit for the ncaa.

Palm is clueless half the time, lunardi may be annoying but he's twice as reliable.

Palm has TCU (5-8 in conference) ahead of us. Lunardi has them as a #9 and us a #7.
