Defense and Free Throws won it for us. LSU is a tremendous offensive team.
Hope this bodes well for our game with another offensive juggernaut on Wednesday.

But please watch the turnovers! The turnovers!

If we'd have shot free throws as well at the start of the season as we are shooting them now, we would have at least a couple more wins and still be in tourney contention.

We'd be a 3 loss team. Definitely would have beaten UCF and Vandy

good win but the last 5 minutes we were sloppy. A lot of TO's and a lot of fouls. We fouled a 3 point shooter twice in the second half. One was made. It seemed like when we got out of our rhythm to slow things down it went sloppy

Just saw where Sexton had 3 assists and 9 TO's.

Sexton just 15 for his last 40 from the field.

He's been scouted. Has to adjust some things in his drive game.

How are LSU fans saying that kicked ball call was "awful?" I'm genuinely curious. That to me seemed like a routine kicked ball. He literally jumps and sticks a foot out.

Because if there is one thing LSU fans know less about than the rules of football, it's the rules of basketball. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of them thought you had to literally kick the ball for it to be a kicked ball.

He's so concerned with making contact and potentially getting to the foul line that he loses focus on actually making the shot. He gets to the rim so well that he should be making shots at a much higher clip.

His dry spell from the field is technically just over the last 2 games (6/24, 25% FG). Before the South Carolina game he went 9/16.

The more concerning area is his 3pt percentage has dipped heavily in the last 7 games. He started red hot from behind the arc, but is 5/23 (22%) from three in the last 7 games. If this continues defenses will start to back off of him defensively to help take away his biggest strength in getting to the hole.

I hope Avery is stressing the importance of the rest of this month to our guys. The February schedule is brutal, so we really need to take advantage of two home games this week.

beg to differ about not beating a good team lately. A&M has a run of easy games coming up and they're about to be healthy. They're a top 10-12 team in country at full strength

Not sure what your A&M point is since Bama didn't play them anywhere near full strength

On a resume, it should have looked good regardless but this free fall even at full strength for TAMU is making them a NIT team
