Brandon Hill backcounts we signing 26 total

It's gonna be kinda awkward for foster to put the crimson on with an AU tat on his arm

Someone else mentioned it earlier, but I think it would be great to have a great player with a AU tat. Basically just screams: "when I was immature I liked AU, when I got my shite together I choose Bama." It would be a constant reminder to all that Bama is better.

I agree I also have no doubt about him getting his cousins name (R.I.P.) on it to help people better signify or either a cover-up

He could always add this guy...
Thats a dreamy finish with Bell/Foster/Liner/Tunsil/Kamara
Saint, Kamara is a certified beast and would be sick with all the other offensive talent we are bringing in. Another nightmare matchup for DC's. Our offense would be a certified HS AA squad that has been handpicked and mentally prepared by Saban and physically sculpted by Cochran, LOL.
Add Foster/Liner/Allen to the beasts already on campus...

Oh yeah.
So wait, is Hill gonna be considered a Freshman or a Sophomore?

Freshman with 5 years to play 4

never enrolled in a college (2 or 4 year), so he has all of his eligibilty

I've always wondered what has to happen to diversify between going to a JuCo and going to a prep school. You retain all your eligibility with the latter, but you lose 2 of 5 possible years with the former. Is it a priority thing? A money thing? A different level of academic problems?
Someone with this knowledge would care to elucidate, it would be much appreciated on my part. It's one of those things I never think about until the conversation of the like come up.

a prep school is still secondary education (a high school). hill was essentially repeating his final year of high school. if you enroll in JuCo you are in post secondary education, and thus your clock starts ticking

I think (not 100% sure) that it's a function of the academic issues. If a player just misses getting a qualifying ACT/SAT score or GPA, he can go to Prep and get it fixed so that he qualifies. If he's not close to qualifying, then JUCO is his only option.

So it's essentially a different level of academic problems in relation to enrolling in a 4 year institution?
I guess I could have thought that out if I would have taken the time, I have a tendency of asking obvious questions every once and a while.
Appreciate it

Does anyone think Bell might play CB? Just seems like we're full up at Safety right now with CB being a greater need, and he appears to have the measurables.

Bell is more suited for Corner anyway. Very smooth athlete with the ability to flip his hips with minimal motion.

Alvin Kamara might save his last visit for Alabama.
With all these RBs in this class we are going to have to make a switch to the wishbone to keep them happy.

The Kamara situation is really intriguing to me. We keep pushing his visit back, and I know the kid is a take regardless, but it almost seems like we are trying to see what Tenpenny is going to do first. If Tenpenny flips, then Kamara commits, it seems to be that simple.
However, the longer Tenpenny stays committed, is it crazy to think we may try to get Kamara to hold off on committing until NSD (so he doesn't push Tenpenny away)? I don't know how this stuff works by any means, but its pretty clear that Kamara is waiting for something, and I don't think that something is a firm committable offer.

Kamara has a spot atm Deuce he could commit today (he actually might
)
We gotta make room for a surprise "recruit X" commitment on NSD (I'm hearing he might be visiting on 1-11 and if he does it will cause shockwaves)

I've also wondered if we haven't been delaying a visit or commitment from Kamara so as not to give ammunition to those negatively recruiting against us for Tenpenny and Tyren.
