Murphy has let things get stagnant within our softball program.

This team is pathetic. Can't hit for shite. Murphy is just going through the motions. Today he let the home plate umpire screw him to death. This team is 5th in the SEC. One of the worst if not the worst hitting team in the SEC.

All the former players are blinded by their hearts and don't think Murphy can do any wrong.

I have heard others complain about fat and out of shape girls on the softball team. He needs to tell them get in shape or hit the road.

as the HC he is responsible for the girls getting in shape through a strength and conditioning program. Seems to me he should be managing this better as the HC

I'm not trying to be a dick but I posted a question about our fall from elite status a few months ago and was roundly told by a few that I didn't pay any attention nor know shite about softball or our program.

This year has been more of the exact same, if not worse.

He's not and shouldn't be but they're clearly stagnant at this point and nothing points to tweaks to philosophy to change that. People hate the comparison but Saban adapted to spread offenses. Murphy seems to be signing the same players and playing the same game even as the numbers showing a program that has been caught and even in some cases passed by a lot of the SEC

It is what it is.

I'm not sure there's a good excuse as to why Alabama softball, with its elite facilities, exceptional softball history and tremendous fan support, has started to go backward. You've got to start with Murphy.

I don't understand why some people have a difficult time seeing this. It's obvious if you take the crimson glasses off that we are losing our place at the top. Nothing has changed in years with the program. "You're either satisfied, or you're hungry. You can't be both." Looks like we have a coach who is satisfied and many fans that are too.

she had 11 walks today to go along with the 9 or so from game one. She has a spot that she keeps going to and if the ref is not giving it to her she walks too many. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. This is two years in a row that she has had way too many walks. Good hitting teams will work the count,
