I didn't know that Olson was one of these EXTREME pull hitters. Hopefully he can learn to pepper the ball to left field like he did last night. I couldn't tell if he did that intentionally or did he catch the ball off the end of the bat.

Why must Albies turn into a .180 hitter batting leadoff ? Braves really need a leadoff batter, and Acuna IMO can not be allowed to lead MLB in solo HR's.

Here are the spots of the order I feel need to be iron clad.

1. Dont care anymore- Braves haven't had a real leadoff hitter but a couple times my entire life so F it.

2. Acuna
3. Riley
4. Olson

9. Swanson

Another observation after two games is once again Fried getting screwed in game 1 with the homeplate umpire missing several strike calls that would totally change the outcome of those atbats. Unreal. I'm ready for the automated strike zone already, and i dont know if its because the braves have gone to this knee down philosophy or are simply terrible pitch framers but the Braves seem to really get screwed on pitches that paint the black.

Ozuna is a trainwreck in LF. Another reason the 16mil on Kenley would have been better spent on a serviceable OF.

If he's in the OF we need him to drive in at least two runs to make up for the run he will cost us per game in the field.

They tried Acuna in other spots. He sucked everywhere but LEADOFF. Mookie Betts is the same way

2.Olson
3.Riley
4.Ozuna
5.Ozzie
6.Duvall
7.Rosario
8. d’Arnaud
9. Swanson

Riley is turning into one of the best hitters in baseball. His progression has been nothing short of miraculous. I think olson should protect Riley not the other way around.

Albies/Rosario (lhp / rhp)
Acuna
Riley
Olson

But I believe you're right acuna will lead mlb in leadoff solo HR, and maybe the fact that Riley has become such a good off speed hitter means he should protect olson so olson get more fast balls, but.... I'd have olson protect Riley. Riley is turning into fricken Miguel Cabrera of old. His swing and body type reminds me of miggy

Well. If you buy a $151 dollar burger you can then be eligible to buy a ring for $25,000.

If that World Series outing unlocked permanent confidence in Kyle Wright that’s a game changer for us

This IS the last year of enduring will smith correct ?

I can already see will smith and kenley Jansen are going to be the heart-attack brothers this year. Cool.

Wright was amazing tonight. 6IP, 2H, 0R, 1BB, 6K

If Ynoa returns to pre injury form and Wright is going to pitch anywhere near that level this season then its going to be a fun rotation to watch.

Morton, Fried, Anderson, Wright, Ynoa

Very encouraging to see Olson and Ozuna hitting the ball well, and Riley picking up where he left off.

I hope the shift gets banned. I hate it.

We got this guy named Alex Dickerson totally jamming up bottom of the lineup. Really wish the braves could have brought Joc back instead of signing Jansen

Duvall and Dansby seem to be opening season on slump mode so - bottom of lineup gotta get going.

Olson is legit. So happy he was happy to accept all that money the braves tried to give to freeman. This guy will dwarf freddie production spanning their upcoming contracts. Dude went 8 for 12 vs Cincinnati

Ian Anderson looked like he was making his mlb debut today- totally lost. Meanwhile Cincinnati starter was filthy in his actual debut.

With Riley batting behind him, Olson is set to have an even bigger season than what he had in pitcher friendly Oakland.
Also, the bang bang non DP in the 3rd was the key play in today's game. Red's would get 5 runs that inning.

Ian is basically Folty with a much better attitude and more clutch.

Yeah he will give you 5 innings of 1 run ball most times but it will fricking take him 100 pitches

I usually start watching games about an hour after they start so I have fast forward time, but I'm gonna allow two hours for anderson starts because ain't nobody got time for all that shite.
