Gastineau was diagnosed with dementia, Parkinson's disease, and Alzheimer's disease.

Dude is probably not in his right mind here

I HOPE you are right... not that I hope he had one of those diseases... but if he DOESN'T... then that's just sad. Pathetic and sad.

That makes more sense, I had thought he was drunk. Although, I'm not exactly sure what he wanted Farve to do in that situation

Brett made a sincere post on social media. You can tell how genuine a guy Brett is by how he encountered and reacted. Totally caught off guard by Mark yet, allowed him to say what he needed to say. Props to Brett

A man (maybe 2) whose identity got lost in his role. That sack record defined him (in his eyes)
Sad to see

His teammates hated him. He had a terrible reputation and refused to play any run D whatsoever. He only cared about pass rush. It’s why he’s not in the HOF.

Brett did a superb job in handling that confrontation. Also, I just watched the play and there’s no way he could have avoided Strahan.

Memory from watching the play says Brett could have absolutely tried to escape the sack, but he most likely would have been sacked. He turned right into Strahan's face who was coming right at him.

Of course it was given to Strahan. The game was over and the Packers were up by two scores at the point in the game. There was no reason to not run the ball, the game would`ve been over after a few runs. This is obviously not a good look for Mark, and it makes him look terrible.

Records are made to be broken! It is better to be a has been than a never was! A broken record never erases a prior record! lol! Somebody needs to give the great Gastineau a lesson on class!

It would have been hilarious if Favre had told him to go grow a sack.

In 1991, Gastineau began a career in boxing, lasting five years. In his first fight, Gastineau knocked out Derrick Dukes in the first round. Dukes, a professional wrestler, later admitted he took a dive.

If Brett Favre did not have the health issues with concussions that he has had, no way would he have backed away from a confrontation with Gastineau. My money would have been on Brett to kick Gastineau arse.

Brett Favre did well here. Should bode well against his welfare robbery.

Man is just a capitalist who got caught...

I think the guy belongs in the HOF but there should be a condition that he not be allowed to speak once they put the gold jacket on him.
