Hamburger steak among other things are frozen. I watched them take it out of a box in front of the whole line at the Juban once a few years ago. Sad state that Piccadilly is in now compared to back in the day.
What about free towing with roadside cell phone insurance? They used to have free towing in the cell phone insurance plans.

You need to hit up the Chevron just south of the interstate in Walker or the Exxon (On the Run) on Florida and/447 and try "Creole Chicken". To me that is better than KK.

The Chevron has boudin ball, grits, chicken, chicken tenders, meat pies, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits fresh and ready when i come through between 5:15-5:30.

The Exxon has some of that, but nothing like Chevron`s spread.

Yes, he fired people when they weren’t in an elevator. One of the older shop guys told me a story of how he fired a shop worker one day .
I don’t remember exactly what it was for , pretty sure it was something that wasn’t a big deal and the shop boss told the guy to comeback the next day don’t worry about him. A few weeks later Jim came in, and he saw the guy and said didn’t I fire you?

I think it was a day it was raining and Jim walked up to a worker when they were at the time clock about to punch out for the day and Jim took his umbrella out of his hand and walked to his car so he didn’t get wet.

I wish I could remember the stories verbatim but I’m not good at remembering all the details.

Back in the 80’s and 90’s you sometimes had to take more shite than you do nowadays. Work wasn’t as easy to get in some fields.

General Tso - most of the time

Amazing Chicken- every once in awhile i get it. Haven`t seen it many places.

I miss the shrimp toast from Great Wall . No others have come close to how they did theirs.

crab rangoon

Teriyaki Chicken (or what most people call chicken on a stick)

I worked at one of his fabrication shops a year after Katrina and i stayed there after the sell to CB&I. Shaw had lawsuits coming that CB&I didn`t know about for shady business practices and bankrupted CB&I. They never paid their bills on time. I would meet people out tailgating and people ask where you work and what not and as soon as I said Shaw, " oh, y`all owe my company this or that amount" kind of embarrassing when Shaw was so well known back then.

The old guys would tell us stories from the original shop (NATIONAL) in downtown BR before it became Shaw. Some included him just taking people`s umbrellas so he didn't get wet and firing people for random things. The elevator stories may not all be true, but i know some were definitely legit. There were many times we heard about them at the shop and confirmed from corporate employees. Mello Joy was also his thing at the fab shop, but that was only for the engineers and front office workers not shop hands. So i know he didn`t want community in his businesses.

He held a huge party for Hillary at his home when she was running for President. $50,000 a ticket.

He did come to the shop after he made the deal with CB&I around Christmas time and we had name drawings where he gave some people TV`s and hunting trips and pair of SB tickets (Ravens vs 49ers). I did not get my name pulled so i didn`t win shite lol. I think he could`ve splurged and gave everybody something with that Billion dollar deal, but hey it was his money and that`s life.

So i guess some people have great stories about him and others terrible stories. I met him before and he did nothing wrong to me and his business helped me get ahead in life, so for that I`m thankful.

I`ve gone 3 times this year. One was good and the other two not so much.

Most of the trays had just a little bit of food in each tray , which they were fresh but if you liked something and other people ate the same item now it`s empty. Hunan pork item was fantastic.

One time there were flies, which i know sometimes that happens.

The guy who I think is the owner seemed very nice.

I`m not trying to bash the place but i think a few less desserts and a couple more lunch/dinner options and some non-raw sushi options like California roll or imitation crab and cream cheese would be nice.
Hopefully this is legit.

I made a round robin with some of the “C” list which is supposed to be fades and Troy got destroyed 33-0. Didn’t start out too good.

It`s a group of 6 or less weekly to watch TNF
That would be Lauren`s trait.
I know it sounds crazy but Hi Nabor`s brand sausage is really good. No big pieces of fat, very good mixture and hickory smoke.

I have never tried Rabineaux`s ,but whomever makes the Hi Nabor sausage it is a cheaper better option than most out there, very consistent.
It’s by the butcher and the middle section in front of the butcher. It was NOT in the sausage section.
Don`t mess up the rewards program. I get free Apps every once in awhile and even though it isn't much it is something. During football season i go about once a week.
They have it at Rouses in Denham, so maybe try Rouses in BR

re: Best Buffetts You have been too?

Posted by LSU999 on 10/30/25 at 6:21 am to
I think its because of the normal Chinese food aspect and like most they reheat the day before leftovers and put it on the lunch buffet which if you don`t get the fresh stuff it isn`t that appetizing. I quit going at night because i`m not big on boiled seafood and hordes of people at a chinese buffet because they had crawfish, crab, shrimp on weekend nights, and i didnt want to spend $25 on chinese at night when it`s half that during the day.I think it is the best chinese buffet in the area as far as options though.

I felt like i was running in quick sand in battle royale. It doesn't run as smooth as COD, but graphics and the fire and something different than the same ole COD is refreshing. If it was more of a smooth flowing game i wouldn`t hesitate playing it and recruiting my normal group over to BR.

I can tell you......

She likes to drink or did.

She doesn`t mind older men.

She is a wild one.
I knew it 4 years ago when they hired his arse.
I used to work for a copying service at a local hospital in BR. It was a long time ago, but if you were bringing records to a Dr, then the records were free.
That was for an abstract, which means the most important stuff not everything.

Lawyers would always try to get the clients to get medical records themselves instead of them requesting because lawyers ask for everything and it gets expensive. If you wanted them for personal records it was a dollar a page for the first 20 pages and .50 cents a page up to a certain amount and the fee went lower.

What i would do is either tell them you need them for another Dr`s appointment or have another medical facility request them for you which is free as long as they have an updated HIPPA release. Those used to be only good for 30 days, i`m not sure what the time length is now. Of course this day and age those medical places may have access already if they use my chart or something.
