Put some dough, sauce, cheese, and toppings on it and it'll be a helluva pizza party.

I'm confused. Twenty years ago, virtually all football games were played on real grass. Now I'm supposed to be impressed by a real grass field?

Giants tried to do this in 2000 and went back to turf. Saints were trying a hybrid weave at the same time.

Yes, you're impressed. Any more questions?

They’re way ahead of schedule for 2021.

If the grass is growing, the field is ready for play.

I’ve golfed on some courses in Vegas and the grass was impeccable. I can only imagine how beautiful it’s going to look on an NFL there. It might be a close second to Tiger Stadium the Friday night before the first game of 2020.

So they put the grass on the pan and push in the stadium. Play the game and then pull it back out until the next game. Is that what I'm looking at?

Yep. Just like Arizona did. That way they can roll it out and water/repair the field when not in use. I guess the top of the stadium doesn't open up so no way to get sun in.

Thanks I did not know Arizona does the same thing. That's pretty cool.
