It is not a place for an established professional in my opinion. It is more grad school/right out of college kids. (At least it was 10 years ago. I have no idea now.)
It is even worse now.

You sound socialist if not communist.
The rich should give more money to the poor states? Who the hell did you vote for?

I don't think strength and fitness are the issue. It's all the other things that create the difference between the top tier drivers and the mediocre drivers. It's a numbers game. The best women athletes are doing other sports.
I always remember an SI article on Olympic water polo 20-30 years ago. The US water polo team has zero shot of ever winning because they are getting 6th or 7th tier athletes vs other's top tier. US athletes will chose many other sports to excel in before they ever get to water polo assuming they are even exposed to it.

Was just curious with all the push for female drivers how, realistic it is for any to be able to go 90 min in an F1 car simply due to body chemistry. Those guys train hard and its a huge burden on their bodies
Age old argument. With training these days I don't see a real issue. The women by nature can probably add a lot more bulk meaning they can carry more muscle and still hit their weight target. For whatever you think of Danica Patrick and Sarah Fisher they had long careers where they seemed to be on par with a lot of male counterparts.
Like was said. Finding a woman physical enough to do it, driven enough to do it, rich enough to do it, connected enough to do it and then still have to convince the status quo to take the chance.

What are the G differences between F1 and the academy cars?
I believe the Academy still run F4 cars.
Like running the Nissan Sentra series but open wheel.

Saw Mika Hakkinen's daughter is joining F4 this year. She should have the name and backing part of the future F1 driver equation.

Not going to watch this version of the same retread story, but does it mention the vast amount of federal tax dollars poured into Alabama from states like California and New York?
TLDW: this keeps coming out that Alabama GDP is higher than Canada. It is a useless metric to view in a vacuum.

The Merc Project One had really strict rules on using the F1 engine. Had to be outside of a certain range.
Can they use similar parts? Sure.
Does all the data correlated have to be documented? Yes.
The audits for engine run time and data collection are apparently pretty hard to overcome.

4 laps of following followed by 5 laps of caution because some rich boy at the back sent it too hard in the hairpin.

Only thing says "sometimes before 2028'
He has a Red Bull contract so depending on that language he can end up anywhere until then. He could also buy it out but RBR have been known to punish the employee (by way of hitting the other team) rather than let them out.
