It’s a hoot to hear about oppression from million dollar athletes who tweet on thousand dollar phones while lounging in million dollar mansions. Yeah Thomas, you are really oppressed.

It’s a fetish at this point. A fantasy. Everyone striving to be oppressed.

Silence is murder? No, shooting each other in the hood and overlooking it until a white cop does it is murder.

Silence is not murder. What Brees said is not murder. What Derek Chauvin, O.J. Simpson, and Ray Lewis did was murder. (Let’s wait and see if Lil’ Chauvin’s privilege helps him as much as Juice and Ray’s did.)

No...murder is murder. Kinda like what y’all did to the 77 year old police officer in St. Louis. I guess he is silent now so to speak.

Not just players, but anyone that doesn’t stand with pride when our national anthem is played can get the frick out of this country.

If you disagree with the MOB, then you're branded a racist. It's coming and soon you'll see an all out attack on Drew that brands him a racist. Wait and see. That's just the way it is 2020. I'm with you Drew. God, Family and Country!

I really don’t understand why Drew is taking such heat for this. - What happened with George Floyd is an absolute horrific tragedy and justice must be served - Protesters who turn to looting and violence are WRONG - You may disagree with it but Kaepernick kneeling for the anthem is his right to do. - Similarly, Drew Brees talking about what the anthem means to HIM and answering the question for a very personal standpoint...he has the right to do that too. All these things can be true. He’s not saying that Kap shouldn’t or shouldn’t be allowed to kneel if he chooses to...he’s simply saying he disagrees with it and gave a very valid reason why. Last I checked, this is America and we SHOULD be allowed to express our opinion. All these athletes jumping on him makes no sense.

So not respecting your national anthem fixes everything? These couple losers need to GTFO! And Kapernick and Nike and whole buncha others.

A Green Beret told Kap to kneel (rather than sit) to protest, but still RESPECT "the flag"

So many people are uneducated and make their beliefs on feelings.
user avatar
WTF Thomas you don’t know better ! Why not take a knee AFTER the National Anthem. What’s wrong with that ! The people who died for you to have the ability to protest and earn the money you do , deserve better !

Lamar Louis scammed people out of money over a failed video game that was never made.

Kneeling isnt the answer just as rioting, murdering, stealing isnt an answer or response. I think the whole world was on the side of every black when we watched that damn video of the white cop kneeling on his neck until he died. But you lost me with the riots and your hatred in response. Two wrongs dont make a right. Now you have a star wide receiver and his star quarterback that will obviously be at odds. Yes football is a game for entertainment, but some of these atheletes who feel so entitled to run thier mouths such as Michael Thomas, Lebron James Colin Kapernick, to name a few and yes James is a basketball player I know. But I really dont want to hear thier racist thoughts. You paid to play a game. Shut up and play.

What I can see is you’re obviously White first of all and next is you’ll never understand what we as an Black race go through... And kneeling isn’t the answer?? Wow! When a “WHITE” veteran was the person who told Kap to kneel... Its so easy for you as a white man to stand for what YOU SEE as liberty and justice for all because in a sense it is liberty and Justice for your race... But when several recent cases where WHITE RACISTS murder black citizens where in da fuk is LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL when it comes to the BLACK COMMUNITY... And in essence this is why KNEELING IS NECESSARY! We can’t stand for a flag where people are murdering us and getting away with it... I’m sure because your white You will still refuse to be ignorant but hey if that’s what you choose then so be it
