Nope, we're still talking about Sunay's NFC Championship no-call. On Friday, Louisiana Republican Senator Bill Cassidy took to the Senate floor to go after the NFL about the blown call from last weekend...

If Cassidy wants to be serious, he can draft legislation that disallows new owners the ability to write off nearly all of the purchase price of their teams against profits over 15 years. Owners are realizing hundreds of millions of tax benefits off of this 2004 tax law tweak.

Never mind discussing our deplorable roads or crime. Let’s waste time bitching about a game.

Well, since the Government is still shut down, talking about that would be pointless

One host on a Sports Talk Radio station said politicians, Saints officials and Saints fans were making "fools" out of their selves for demanding Goodell respond in some manner to the blown call. This host said that Goodell owes the Saints and it's fans nothing. This is BS! Goodell is the commissioner of the NFL and it is his responsibility to make sure games are officiated with integrity. It is his responsibility to make officials accountable for their actions or in this case, non action. Goodell has literally wiped his butt with the Saints, the Saints fans and the entire state of Louisiana. He did so when he suspended Sean for an entire year for NOTHING. The Bounty Gate did not bring about anything illegal, Goodell just used us to deflect his and the NFL's responsibility for players and the concussion issue. Now he is doing it again. He owes us, he owes all fans, he owes a league of integrity. The fans made the NFL what it is today! So yes, he does owe us, he owes all fans!

1 big reason why the Government temporarily opened for 3 weeks is bc of the Super Bowl. So yea the NFL is a big deal and Goodell, Vegas, or whoever is ruining the product. Everything is becoming corrupt...

And the clown car named Washington DC rolls along. Our politicians aren’t serious people. They’re clowns. They’re hacks. And they’re weak.

I for one don't care about politicians commenting about the sport teams of their state. Comes across as nothing but pandering.

In this case, I disagree. This fix impacted several states/economies.
