When I was a GA back in the 90's, our HC used this philosophy to decide which of us were on the road recruiting, and who was staying in the office manning the phones and doing paperwork. He said if you don't have enough game to pull arse, then you sure as hell cant sweet talk a recruit either. (I logged a lot of miles those two years)
