While I 100% think it’s cool that he’ll play for his dad and that he picked a lower tier school compared to places he could’ve possibly gone, I don’t know what this has to do with equality. Is he referring to equaling the playing field as far as talent? I ask this bc no one is forcing these players to attend the schools they go to. Yes there is better recognition at other places, but everyone has heard of Grambling. Back in the day they were steadily putting players in the league. To get there you need talent and he’s trying to reach that level, but I can’t figure out the equality angle. I guess I’m reading into it the wrong way.

I think his use of "level the playing field" immediately before and in conjunction with "pursue equality" makes it clear that he is talking about leveling the playing field In terms of talent at smaller schools, and probably specifically hbcus. So, yeah, you're probably reading into it the wrong way.

Sometime in the last year, a bunch of black leaders called for 4 and 5 stars to attend HBCU's so they could bring more $$ into the HBCU's. They wanted to see the big checks going to black coaches and admins. It is the same thing as telling blacks to support black-owned businesses.

He’s got a couple of seasons to prove himself before Arch Manning commits to JSU as I predict he will.

Recruiting violations. The coach is definitely giving that kid clothes, money, cars, and a big arse house.

This speaks to the character of the father. Very impressive that his son would want to do this for him, he has obviously given a lot to the son.
