Baylor will look a little different on the court next season and by "different" I mean they'll have entirely new team. Thanks transfer portal...

I really hate NIL and Transfer Portal. I don't mind one or the other, but their combination has killed the college sport.

So he signed a contract for $1 million with Baylor, then decided to go somewhere else. What is the point of a contract?

College sports are dead to me. Make these athletes pay for their tuition, room and board now if they are all banking.

They've got to get this crap under control. Multi-year contracts are going to be needed. I'm not a Vol fan, but I'm glad they did what they did with their former QB.

2026 Baylor will probably still be better than LSU

Maybe LSU can get Baylor on the schedule

$1 mil for a standout freshman that was honorable mention on a 8th ranked BIG 12 team! I can’t imagine the amount of *^%# talking on the bus after a team loss between walk-on,scholarship, and paid athletes.

I appreciate that we’re not even pretending this is NIL anymore. It’s just straight up contracts. Except these contracts don’t seem to actually obligate the player to anything.

Sounds like Woodward needs to make a trip to Waco for another basketball coach

Meh...O'Bannon had a good case. I wish more athletes would have sued the NCAA. It'd be nice to get rid of that org and start over

So is Wright getting 4mil in total? Still getting the 1mil from the Baylor collective for him to play at BYU?

At least half of the people were out of eligibility or graduated. The rest were portal guys. Wright leaving late sucked because Drew was building a roster from the portal around him, now he's scrambling to find a replacement. At least his portal signing class is Top 10.
