Maybe he has a bad back? I don't know. But this home plate umpire looks like he hates baseball...

I’ve never understood how they can be so inconsistent. Keep it between the knees and below the letters, while picking a spot on each side of the plate that is the same for both pitchers no matter if it’s a bit outside. Everyone can adjust to the ump as long as he doesn’t change his strike zone. The one exception is the batters stance, and if it’s abnormal then the ump could easily tell the batter he’s not shrinking the zone bc he’s in a ridiculous squat.

A good way to get an umpiring injury.

Good. An umpire who doesn’t have to act like a clown out there. All umps should be like this guy.

We should all go to the filmers job and call him out for sucking as his job. What a loser

This is how little action is involved in the game of baseball where the ump can just stand there as the game unfolds.

In his defense, it looks like he tries to adjust in to the slot at one point and he grimaces. My bet is that he is having back pain and didn't want to cancel the game.

Wait wha? I see umps all the time put hands on their hips, doesn't mean they hate their job or sport. You go stand in 1 spot for 3+ hours and barely move.

This is a perfect description of how I imagine Larry Leo doing his job.
