My dad was suite mates with him at Tech. Said he was a pretty nice guy then. We saw him at some games when his son was playing for the Tigers. Karl would always stop by the tailgate and speak to dad for a couple minutes.

I was at all the Utah games. The refs let Chicago mug the Jazz at will. And blew the whistle if the Jazz even looked MJs way. Never went to another NBA game. Malone was the best power forward who ever played the game, IMO

Yeah, Malone was an arse, too. But I think that's beside the point given the guy we're all deifying in this ESPN series was no boy scout. I'm totally down with KM's position on this. The production has moved past a review of how great the Bulls were and into the arena of how awesome it was that Jordan was a fricking a-hole in on and off the court. I'm not sure that's really worth celebrating. Apparently, neither did Malone.

I think I would respect him a little bit less, and I already don’t respect him very much had he agreed to do that show. I don’t understand why these guys want to replay their greatest failures. Like Matt Ryan doing that commercial in the off-season after they blew the 25 point lead
