Hahahahaha...this is hilarious....Hahaha...There was a time when Dwight Howard was one of the best players in the NBA around 2007-12. In a recent interview Howard put himself among the all-time greats and even thinks that his prime was better than Nikola Jokic's, who is still playing...hahaha...he can't be serious....
quote:

"Because I'm getting old," Dwight Howard says on fans forgetting his prime. "But I know that in my prime. it's a wrap. It's a wrap... I'm Dwight Howard. I know what I've done in this league... all-time centers, I'm top 10."

Dwight is putting himself amongst the greats and rightfully so but while people were quick to crown Nikola Jokic as a top center to ever play the game, Dwight made his case on why his prime is still better than the Jokic's prime.

"Obviously, people going to say Jokic can score. He got all those offensive skills," Howard says. "But at the same time, I was getting 38 and 20, 45-18, 19, 20, and I'm doing all this with twos. No threes, all twos. I'm doing this with lobs. I'm not getting a lot of post-up attempts like Jokic. He's getting way more opportunities."

He's a legend in his own head only! The only reason he made it to the NBA was his size, not his talent to play basketball. Great players don't get traded every off season! He should be happy that he made a lot of money and leave it at that!

Howard’s game consisted of only dunks, lobs, and the occasional hook shot. No shite he didn’t get as many opportunities as Jokic gets - Jokic is the better offensive player. Howard’s defense is arguably on par or better than jokic, but offense isn’t close.

Dwights absolute peak is probably a top 10-15 center but Jokic's absolute peak is a top 5-10ish overall player... big difference.

Watched his whole career in Houston. His game never progressed, never fine tuned, never learned pick n roll, perimeter shot, etc.

He's certainly gotten dumber over the years

Maybe a top 10 "talent" but never a top ten player. Saw him here in Orlando. Soft. Lazy. Hurt.
