On Tuesday, the Oakland Athletics organization announced they will begin the process of exploring other cities to call home now that it seems a waterfront stadium project isn't progressing... So where will they land?...

Further evidence that California, and especially Oakland, is 100% garbage. Thanks Dems.

Gotta love professional sports leagues. They shite on white people, then demand their money to build new stadiums.

I can see it now! Future site of the “BLM and ANTIFA Municipal Sports and Peaceful Protest Complex”.

Who in the hell is gonna finance a new ballpark in a shithole like Oakland.

Municipalities giving money to multi-billion dollar organizations to play a game is never a win for the taxpayers. I am glad Oakland is taking a stand and hope no other city falls for this extortion scheme.

Not that I watch much baseball, but Portland is a homeless crack filled dumpster fire. I could see Louisville, Nashville or Charlotte.

Nashville has almost as many homeless crackheads as Portland.

Nashville would be an amazing choice.

I expect Montreal. Shot in the dark for San Antonio but that'll be fun if it happened.

All over a measly $12bn. So sad.

Portland? Wouldn't they burn it down before it was finished??

Thought this too. Only 3 teams in the Deep South (1 if you don’t count Florida). New Orleans is the most obvious spot for an expansion in the region.

If I were a player I’d want Nashville or San Antonio. No state income taxes.

There is no win-win in a $12B taxpayer back deal.

12 billion for a new stadium? If I'm a tax payer in Oakland I'd say good riddance.
