In their pattern, the boomers are an "awakening" generation and the millennials are the "hero" generation that provide the foot soldiers and true believers. Thus your perception that they are kind of on the same team is confirmed by this way of looking at things. According to their model, when the awakening gen is in elderhood, you have a crisis--a fourth turning.
