The Latest LSU Bowl Projections Have A Familiar Trend

The College Football Bowl season is just around the corner, with the Tigers learning their postseason destination in a few weeks.

Throughout the season, LSU was projected to play in the ReliaQuest Bowl, formerly The Outback Bowl, on January 1, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

Most projections this week also have the Tigers in the ReliaQuest Bowl, with their opponent being Notre Dame.

The matchup would be Brian Kelly's first time facing his old team. Per Lafayette Daily Advertiser:

If LSU face Notre Dame in the ReliaQuest Bowl on the first, with the huge alumni of both teams and the storylines, this will be one of the highest rated games of the New Year.

Whos to say any of LSUs top players play this game? This only becomes an intriguing matchup if daniels, Thomas and Nabors all play. Which is no certainty. While this matchup may be great for everyone else, these players have nothing to play for
