LSU quarterback Sam Leavitt scared some fans on Monday with an Instagram story post of his foot wrapped up and elevated during a car ride.

Leavitt followed up with a message that relieved fans, stating that he just had the pins removed from his foot from his initial surgery...

I just give the kid props for his participation ahead what most expected and doing so with pins in his foot.

He may be healed by september, but the critical path is being able to practice full reps with the team by in august. I don't think he'll get full reps. My guess is Landon Clark will start the season...
