Robinson has been Syracuse's defensive coordinator for the past two seasons but was demoted this week by head coach Fran Brown. Syracuse went 3-9 this season.

Before his time at Syracuse, Robinson worked under Jimbo Fisher at Texas A&M from 2018 to 2023 in various roles. He served as interim head coach for the final two games of the 2023 season after Fisher was fired. Here's a look at his coaching bio:

I remember Aggie players wanting him to get the job. He was a great recruiter according to my Aggie friend and was a good d-line coach. He left for Syracuse and all of those guys transferred out.
