We have 3 in a row at a neutral site field. You think CBK is going into Clemson on their home field at night and winning. Nope. Clemson 30, LSU 24

LSU and Clem’s son trade blows and the half ends tied at 14-14. Clem’s son kicks a field goal in the third to take a 3 point lead in the third quarter. Nuss connects with Hixon for the win with nine seconds remaining in the game for a 20-17 win.

Clemson's defensive line will handle LSU's offensive line, and it will be a long night.

The Nuss Bus Farewell Tour: 1st Stop – Clemson, SC

On Dabo’s first customary running down the hill of Death Valley Jr. for the season, he got a bit over his skis and slid open mouth, face first down the last 25 yards of the slope. They could plant corn in the row he hoed. He finally made it to the sideline looking like a walking compost heap. It was all downhill from there…

After losing the toss, Nuss and the new OL opened the game by road grading Clemson’s over-hyped DL for 50 yards on 6 straight runs. Then…Trey'Dez in the corner…Fightin’ Tigers by 7.

Our deep DL stuffed the middle, harassed the QB and corralled the edges like it was a mid-season game…and also got home 3 times. Our new DBs had some growing (together) pains but overall the 5* freshman, the old veteran and the good Samaritan had 1 pick and some good punishing physical tackles. Putting WRs on notice: Enter at Your Own Risk.

Harold Perkins and the Weeks gang harassed Kojak and the Clemson offense all night long, holding them to 3 third down conversions. Perkins shoulda been wearing 007 at the rate that he spied the Heisman hopeful…nowhere to run, nowhere to hide…somewhere to pass? Best get there fast…cause HE comin’! Perk finished with 2 sacks & a batted ball.

Reminding Dumbo of the last time he came across the Fightin’ Tigers, Nuss coulda been wearing #9…BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM…Nuss 28 of 32 for 396 yds & 3 TDs had him reliving the nightmare on Bourbon Street.

When it was all said and done, the real Heisman contender was the Tiger in the purple & gold.

Statement made!
