College cornerbacks at the NFL Combine this week like Cameron Dantzler from Mississippi State, Trevon Diggs from Alabama, and A.J. Terrell from Clemson all said that LSU Ja'Marr Chase was the best wide receiver they faced in college.

Sounds about right.

He's fantastic. Having the Heisman winner drop dimes in your basket doesn't hurt either.

Like all great QB's in the past, the receiver is generally the reason they are great. I remember Hodson's year AFTER W. Davis left LSU. Hope he makes MB look great, too.

Having someone to throw to who is the Blietknkoff winner doesn’t hurt either.

It's probably not lost on these corners that the last word they see before this guy peels off another 1st down plus 15 or a TD is "Chase."

I really hope Moore coming in from the same HS models his drive, work ethic and game after Chase. Great influence to try to live up to.

Moore is taller and faster but doesn't have the physique Chase had coming out of H.S. Glad he flipped from USC though !

That catch he made, I believe in the NC game, down the sideline where it looked like he'd lost his balance then was going to have to adjust looked impossible, but he did it, all time great catch

For those asking, because he's going pro after next year. That's why it's make or break.
