I don’t think he will start over Mahomes

At least Nuss got drafted, unlike Pavia.

That's just criminal. But like Nuss always reminded us...it's a God thang. God saw to it that this was his spot to be drafted in. Thought he might pull out the Tom Brady blueprint again. From zero to hero Nuss!

I will be amazed if he makes the final roster.

He slid because he was lazy in the off season. If he wants to stick, he will have to put in the work. He was happy to ride the bench in college and then didn't put in the work when he had the chance.

Extremely stupid post.

He wasn’t at all, he had a pretty good day for his pro day prior to the combine

He slid because no one would be honest about his condition last season. Just in the last few weeks was it unveiled what the actual injury was. No NFL team was going to roll the dice on them suddenly staring to tell the whole story.

Great team for him. Get healthy, learn gain some muscle. Be ready for the top spot in 3 or 4 years or at least a solid #2.

He’s in a great position to be a longtime backup. Learn the game, pace & cadence. He could end up being a 10 year vet as a backup. He also could parlay his time in the league with a QB coaching job,

Hope Reid coaches a bit longer to develop him. Patrick Mahommes was a lot like him when he was in college. Gun slinger

I can't wait until Preseason to see when he ignores Coach Reid giving him guidance on the sideline just like he did to CBK and FW.

Bro made more in college than he will make in the pros.

Geaux get em Nuss. You got this. 257 football players in were drafted to the NFL in 2026. You were one of them. Be proud, chin up, onward and upward.
user avatar
This is the best place he could be. Zero pressure. He will be learning from the best coach in the NFL amd hopefully make that roster as be Mahommes backup.

BK was apparently fooling us all at the tune of $95M. his 2 best players barley made it into the NFL

I’m happy for Nussmeier. Hopefully he will be healthy. Kelly screwed him.

Are you suggesting that Jayden Daniels barely made it into the NFL?

Wish there was an avenue for him to sue Brian Kelly. Nuss was done in by a coach who had zero concern for him or his future.

I'm not signaling you out, just saying in general. No one likes what happened to us under BK but you know we have moved on and got another coach. This constant BK hate stuff looks like middle school girls fighting.

I would agree, but he took a Heisman frontrunner and high first round pick and just ruined the end of his collegiate career, costing him millions. That's not LSU. That's what he did to Nuss.

Blaming BK for a cyst on Nuss's spine is diabolical... I never thought BK was a fit, and I sure as hell did not like the product on the field in the end. However, who knows where we are (or who our coach is) if not for a cyst....
