LSU moved up to No. 3 in the AP Top 25 and No. 4 in the Coaches Poll after the Tigers' season-opening win at Clemson.
No. 3 is the highest LSU has been ranked in the AP poll since 2019 and the first time in the Top 5 since the 2023 preseason rankings.
