LSU DT Jay'viar Suggs Reveals Transfer Destination

Former LSU defensive tackle has reportedly committed to Wisconsin.

Suggs transferred to LSU from Grand Valley State last season.

The 6-3, 295-pound lineman from Flint, Mich., played in all 12 games this season, registering 10 total tackles, 3 tackles for a loss, and 2.5 sacks.

I wonder what his number actually was and if Wisconsin met that number or were the closest to matching that number.

Those are insane stats: 15 TFL, 11 sacks, 52 tackles, 2 PD from the Defensive Tackle position, probably the hardest spot on Defense to get a sack, PD, or tackle is quite impressive even at that division level.

lol, those aren’t “insane” stats. They’re over the course of 35 or so game career. Mekhi Wingo put up those type of stat totals in less than 2 full seasons at LSU.

That said, I’d have liked to keep him. At worst he was a rotation guy that showed he could be disruptive. But I get it, he wanted to play more. Good luck to him.
