Former LSU quarterback TJ Finley announced Monday that he is transferring to Auburn.

Finley, a former four-star prospect from Ponchatoula, Louisiana, was a signee in LSU's 2020 class.

He started in five games as a true freshman last season after starting quarterback Myles Brennan suffered a season-ending injury in Week 3. Finley went 2-3 in those games with wins against South Carolina and Arkansas and losses to Auburn, No. 5 Texas A&M, and No. 1 Alabama.

judging by his spring performance he'll still be throwing to LSU players

I hope TJ beats Georgia and Bama every year.

TJ won’t beat out Bo Nix. TJ will then become a cancer (like he was at LSU) for Auburn because if he doesn’t start the bitching and whining will begin. Mom will be on the internet and once again TJ will be “Misunderstood”.

Best wishes to TJ, but not against LSU. He’s now officially become tiger bait. You are on the radar now.

in his comments he made excuses for why his stats were bad and basically said the other guys stats were bloated all due to competition. He even said Florida was looking ahead to Bama. He already had made his decision so not sure why he found this necessary. Ah well...tigerbait.

I didn’t know transfer announcement videos were a thing. Just another “hey look at me” moment.

Wish he hadn't stayed in the SEC, but Oh well. Guess we'll get to see our 1st string DBs pick him off instead of 2nd or 3rd string.

Did you see our dbs last year?!

Enjuhnear, did you see TJ last year and in the Spring Game? LOL.

Enjuhnear doesn't seem to understand that we're in a different scheme this year with a proper offseason to learn it, or that we have likely the best starting corners in the country.

This makes zero sense. He doesn’t think he will sit behind Nix? Bad decision. Should have gone a tier down if he really wanted to play.

His appearance with the Hat that doesn't fit and his hair is special. Sorry if some of you don't agree but it looks unique.

Good luck. Just a tough situation for him at LSU. Got caught up in a numbers game. Just 1 football.

Best of luck. With that being said, TJ can now go frick himself. I hope everyone will respect my decision.

Always find it weird when grown men get worked up to the point of telling a 20 year old to go frick himself lol. If you are between 18-22, I guess it’s fine, but any older and that’s a bit immature my friend.

Grats TJ. Definitely a step down, but still a great place to go and prep for the NFL, vs taking the easy way out and going to a school like Middle Tenn State.

this is so wrong. I'd argue that a guy has a better chance of prepping for the NFL by, you know, actually playing. If he rides the bench at Auburn, it doesn't do him a damn bit of good. Go to a smaller school, start immediately, and see what you have. If it's good, you'll get noticed.

Someone asked me about LSU racial climate survey,i refered them to tigerdroppings.the bottom feeders will tell on themselves

atltiger648735 months
nothing about this Finley situation is racial. He just wasn't a good enough QB here, and the way he left was a little odd. That's what driving the comments. No one cares about his skin color.
